SSWGA MIDLAND DIVISION CONSTITUTION
Conditions of membership shall be in accordance with SSWGA Constitution Rule 2.
The management and control of the Midland Division shall be vested in a committee of not more than eight members including the Office Bearers.
The Office Bearers shall be the Captain, Vice Captain, Hon. Secretary, Hon. Treasurer and the Hon. Secretary who may also be the Hon Treasurer.
The Captain and the Vice Captain shall hold office for one or two years, the Captain being elected in rotation from Fife, Perth and Kinross and Stirling and Clackmannan Counties.
The retiring Captain may serve on the committee for one year after ending her term of office.
The Hon.Secretary and Hon. Treasurer shall hold office for up to three years.
The three members of the committee shall be from different counties and the longest serving shall retire annually.
The Committee shall have the power to fill any casual vacancy in the course of the year, such nomination to be confirmed at the next Annual General Meeting.
Three committee members shall form a quorum.
Payments from the Midland Division’s bank account shall require a minimum of two authorized signatories.The annual accounts of the Division shall be independently examined and approved by members at the Annual General Meeting.
Annual subscriptions fall due on the last day of February.
Applicants for membership shall have a WHS Handicap Index of maximum 30.
A player in the SSWGA draw for the annual meeting requiring to withdraw may be replaced by another player.
